Rachel and Ben’s wedding has easily always been one of my top favorite weddings, and I’m so excited to finally share more of it!
These two were so much fun! They held their wedding ceremony in Rachel’s home church of St. Mary’s on the Hill in Augusta, then headed over to the Marriott by the river for the reception. The sanctuary at the church was absolutely stunning! It was cold and drizzly on their wedding day, but we were able to pop out front for their couple’s portraits, and found the most perfect area with beautiful windows and white walls.. which went along perfectly with their classic color palette!
After the ceremony, we took some quick wedding party shots before heading into the reception, Rachel and Ben both wanted to do some fun shots with their crew. Their personalities really shined through with these, and had me belly laughing as Ben showing off his new bling to the fellas. Their happiness and joyful spirit filled the dance floor as they went into their first dance as husband and wife. Before the final toasts, they celebrated cutting their cake together. Check out Ben’s grooms cake! I loved the Fender guitar pick! Ben actually plays guitar, so it was so fitting for him.
I would go back and shoot this wedding day with them any day of the week! I felt right at home with them with their fun, relaxed spirits!
