I’m almost positive that if you looked up southern belle in the dictionary- you’d find Kristin! She and Cody’s May wedding day was everything that a classic, southern wedding should be!
They were married in their home church in Lincolnton, GA, which Kristin’s father is the head pastor of. He even officiated their ceremony! There was barely a dry eye in the house as both of their parents gathered around them, and prayed over them. This was such a special moment!
Kristin and her girls had the most fun, bubbly, and outgoing personalities, and looked so gorgeous in their icy blue dresses. We made a day of decision to have a reveal with them once Kristin was into her wedding dress, and their reaction was priceless! So many smiles and hugs as they gushed over how beautiful she was! Cody is more on the reserved side, sneaking in sweet, shy smiles here and there- he and Kristin complement each other so perfectly! He had a tiny photo of his late Grandmother attached to his boutonniere in remembrance of her. I thought that was a perfect way to honor her memory, and have her included in their day!
Their reception was full of white roses, gold accents, and the most fun neon sign above their sweetheart table! They wanted their reception time to be very relaxed and easy going, and it definitely was! Just a quick cake cutting, a delicious dinner, and lots of hugs before the festivities came to an end. Short, sweet, and to the point, but absolutely beautiful!
It was such an honor being a part of this day. I can’t wait to see what adventures these two go on to have next!
