What a treat it was to be able to see my sweet friend Tracy marry her Prince Charming! Their day was filled to the brim with joy, a ton of laughter, and overall fun. Ryan and his guys literally had me laughing so hard that I could hardly breathe!
Tracy and I used to work together almost TEN years ago, which seems completely unreal. She was my teller supervisor when I worked at a local bank in Aiken, SC, and we have kept in touch over the years. Being able to be a part of her wedding day was such an honor, and although I remember many laughs shared during our time at work together, I don’t think that I have ever seen her smile so much, or so radiantly, as she did on this day. Her happiness was infectious, and it was so clear that Ryan is just as crazy about her as she is for him!
During our first meeting together to begin the planning process, they shared with me that their first date was actually to a wedding! Fast forward to a few years later, and Ryan elaborately planned a proposal, surrounded by family, during a beach vacation at John’s Pass in Florida.
It was so fitting that the theme of their wedding was like a vacation getaway. The groom’s cake was a plane, complete with the Margaritaville logo. They also had an area set up for guests to write them a “message in a bottle” for them to read on their first anniversary. Since Tracy is from New York, the pizza dinner was so perfect for them! With her details, she included her Grandmother’s ring, as well as a tiny, white heart that belonged to her Grandmother, attached to her bouquet, as a way to remember her and keep her close on her day.
I loved every bit of Tracy and Ryan’s wedding, and could not be happier for them both as they begin this new chapter together!
