When I tell y’all that my heart was racing as I waited for William to hit his knee, it was seriously pounding! We planned out this proposal in downtown Charleston, and he wanted it to be a complete surprise! I’m so happy to say that we pulled it off, and Chandler’s genuine shock and surprise had my heart doing cartwheels! I sat tucked away right off of Meeting Street, and waited for them to walk by. As soon as they reached this spot, William popped the question! They shared the sweetest emotional moment and soaked it all in before we finished up with portraits in front of the Courthouse and Hibernian Hall. I know they’re going to have the most beautiful Virginia wedding this June!
